DIVE CERTIFICATIONS

Once a Scuba Lesson or Discover Scuba is complete, you can continue your instruction at an additional fee with a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) certification that will allow you to dive anywhere in the world. Open water certifications can be obtained in as little of three and a half days at Jewel Paradise Cove Beach Resort & Spa. This certification will never expire.

Scuba Diver Certification - This includes 2 supervised training dives at a depth of 40 feet and allows diving at any resort or facility where guided diving is offered. Your Discover Scuba Diving course can count towards one of the training dives and of course the price.

Open Water Certification - This includes 4 training dives at a depth of 60 feet and is the standard beginners course for persons who love diving and wish to fully enjoy the sport anywhere on earth!

Advanced Open Water Certification - Includes 5 dives with training for specialty levels e.g. deep, night, navigation. By doing this course you sharpen all your skills and develop some exciting new ones. (Pre-requisite is Open Water certification).

Rescue Diver Certification - This course teaches self rescue and how to rescue other divers or handle in water emergencies that requires diving. It includes 6 dives and is the next step to the Pro level and the coveted Master Scuba Diver rating. (Pre-requisite is Advanced Open Water and EFR – Emergency First Response for Divers).

Master Scuba Diver - The pinnacle of amateur sport diving requires five specialties plus your Rescue Diver certification. We will be happy to make this submission for you at no cost if you complete your Specialty courses with us. We offer a varied selection to include Night Diver, Peak Performance, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Boat Dive---just to name a few.

Pro Dive Courses such as Dive-master are best done through internship as they typically take a week or more of classroom and actual diving. If you wish to pursue a Dive-master course please contact us for a customized schedule and rate.

All certifications include educational manuals, log books, student record files, temporary certification cards and use of equipment.
